BRASILE – MINAS GERAIS
INÁCIO CARLOS URBAN
When Inàcio Carlos Urban first arrived in Minas Gerais, in 1976, he brought with him his dream of feeding the world and his passion for coffee. In 1984, he bought a farm in Cerrado Mineiro and named it Rio Brilhante, planting his first coffee trees in a sustainable and innovative way.
The property is located at 1150 meters of altitude, in the micro-region of Pântano, with over 1200 productive hectares. The river that feeds the coffee plantations, offering life to the place, is of an unusual brightness found, fertile soil and exuberant nature. The urban family cultivates such values as ethics, entrepreneurship and socio- environmental responsibility.
The coffee produced presents a distinctive identity, well-bodied, velvety mouthfeel with interesting notes of caramel, chocolate, nutty flavours and a liquorice finish.
