On the one hand, we talk about social sustainability, so that the forms of exploitation and under remuneration of producers are fought.

On the other hand, there is environmental sustainability, a topic that is more central than ever today because the producing countries, due to outdated or even incorrect agricultural practices, can cause real damage to the territory during the processing of the coffee product.

The “specialty” supply chain is the bearer of programs that encourage the correct agronomic techniques, conveying new technologies and more generally a new eco-sustainable culture (for example, think of the use of water in countries characterized by scarcity).
